Our client is an international multinational company in the fishing industry, located in many Countries, with distribution in the Food Service and GDO channels.

For the Italian branch, we are looking for a:

HEAD OF FINANCE – FINANCE MANAGER

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations and will work closely with the General Manager to ensure that the financial strategy aligns with the overall business objectives.

The Head of Finance will report directly to the Italian CEO.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage the company's financial strategy and budget, ensuring that financial objectives are met
• Provide strategic direction to the company through strategy formulation, decision making, forecast/budgeting and its implementation/monitoring
• Conduct financial analysis, including financial modelling and forecasting, to support business decisions
• Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for change
• Prepare and present financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and financial projections
• Manage relationships with external partners, including banks, auditors, and tax authorities
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws
• Supervise and manage the finance team (5 FTEs: Accounting and Controlling), ensuring that all financial activities are carried out accurately and efficiently

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Master degree will be considered a plus
• Fluent in English mandatory. Spanish knowledge will be considered as a plus
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
• ·Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of financial principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with external partners
• Experience in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Experience in financial modelling and forecasting
• Good knowledge of financial regulations and laws
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Basic requirement: capability to work remotely with regular visit to the HQ offices in Bologna (at least 3 days per week)
