Junior Engineer

Job Description:

Wyser is the international company of Gi Group that deals with head hunting and recruiting of middle and senior specialized management. We are part of Gi Group, one of the main international reality focused on services about development of job market.

For our client, a multinational company leader in Automotive sectors, we are searching for a:

JUNIOR COST ENGINEER.

The candidate will be responsible to identify and implement engineering cost reduction opportunities on current and future models, working closely to Engineering, Purchasing and Production Departments.

Main Responsibilities:

• Calculation and simulation of Budget Standard cost for each models.
• Inserting, updating and monitoring of standard costs in BAAN.
• Report and calculate of stock evaluation.
• Estimate the cost of new machines features (RDC) upon request from marketing division.
• Calculate the cost of new carpentry structures (C-Media, Weight Cost Table) and verify if the purchase price is in line with the estimation.
• Estimation the cost of PBOM design changes (CID).
• Cost Estimates of new proto machines.

Skills & Requirements:

• Recently graduated in Engineering (Management / Mechanical / Mechatronics).
• Advanced Excel Skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Good written and spoken English with knowledge of the main technical language/words used in the relevant product application business.

• Strong Communication Skills.
• Ability to plan and allocate work.
• Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
